We are very proud of the students, staff, and parents at our school. The administration and staff are dedicated to academic excellence through an integrated curriculum with an emphasis on mastery learning, technology, problem solving, and life-skills applications. We are committed to providing motivation and encouragement to all students to achieve social as well as academic success.

We strive to make Nickerson Elementary a friendly, caring, supportive school where children feel challenged, safe, and cared for by both the school staff and the community. The school is located in a small rural community, eight miles west of Hutchinson, Kansas.

Visitors are welcome to come and see our school facility and to meet our outstanding students, parents, and staff.
