USD 309 school board members and district leadership met last week to begin a Needs Assessment for the district. Participants studied student data to determine areas of needed emphasis. As one board member pointed out, the night "...was a great learning experience in a somewhat casual environment."
Student success is being measured from every angle with the end goal of providing them the tools to lead happy, fulfilling lives.
As teachers return this fall, developing a plan to improve student achievement in dramatic ways will be the focus.
